Following the meeting of the Governmental Commission on Sustainable Development of the Russian Economy, the list of systemic companies was supplemented by 274 industrial enterprises including PJSC Karacharov Mechanical Plant (PJSC KMZ).
The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has published the updated list on the page of the official web-site, the relevant information is specified in the section "Heavy Machine-Building".
PJSC KMZ is a leading manufacturer of hoisting and lifting equipment, with a market share of over 20% of all elevators produced in the territory of the Russian Federation, and annual revenues exceeding the numerical criteria of sectoral indicators in terms of values established for this industry by the appropriate agency.
Over its 70-year history, the plant has produced more than 260 000 units of lifting equipment, which is operated on the territory of Russia, CIS and 26 countries around the world. Today, the company is the largest employer in the Moscow region, providing jobs for more than 1,000 employees.
