The universal hooks, which allow, under conditions of the coronavirus spread, to open contactlessly the doors, call an elevator and use the subway have been developed in Japan, as reported by NHK television channel.
It is noted that the management of a small plant for production of various kinds of metal components drew attention to growing interest of the society to reducing the number of personal contacts and touching to the objects, where the other people could touch. The interest was not accidental, the plant revenues due to coronavirus was reduced by half.
The hook is made of titanium, fits easily in the palm of the hand and is multi-functional: with its assistance one can hold on to the handrails in transport, call an elevator without touching the handle, open the door, - the message says.
The manufacturer plans to start the sales of the new product on-line.
