LIFT Media Club

On February 1, 2018, a meeting of the LIFT Media Club was held at the Central House of Journalists, during which the participants discussed one of the most topical issues for the elevator industry today - the problem of training qualified personnel for elevator enterprises.

The organizers of the Media Club are traditionally the Information Policy Committee of the National Lift Union and the magazine "LIFTINFORM".

The date of the event was not chosen at random and held in conjunction with the historical event. Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR "On the organization of production of elevators" signed by I.V. Stalin, Chairman of the USSR Council of Ministers on February 1, 1949 marked the beginning of the emergence of the elevator industry in our country.

Today, the topic of training qualified personnel is one of the most pressing challenges facing the National Lift Union. Not only citizens using elevators every day are concerned about the safety issues of the operation of vertical transport, but also organizations responsible for the production, maintenance and repair of elevator equipment. According to the statistics of accidents on elevators, as well as the analysis, a rather frequent cause of equipment malfunction is poor-quality service, which in turn is a consequence of the imperfection of the training system in the elevator industry.

On behalf of VDNH JSC, Golubeva Tatyana Mikhailovna addressed the guests of the event with an invitation to participate in the main international exhibition of elevators in Russia and lifting equipment "Russian Elevator Week", which will be held in pavilion No. 75 from 18 to 20 June 2019 at VDNH. As part of the upcoming event, the organizing committee of the exhibition is ready to provide the educational institutions with the opportunity to organize a workplace - an information stand, as well as a congress event, round table, conference or business activity of any other format, depending on the task on hand.
