Elevator Producers at the 5th National Qualifications System of Russia Nationwide Forum

On December 5, the 5th National Qualifications System of Russia Nationwide Forum was held in the Russia – my history VDNH Pavilion. The Forum was attended by some 2 thousand representatives of employers, federal and regional government bodies, educational and expert organizations, councils for professional qualifications and competence assessment centers.

Within the framework of the Forum, strategic directions for the national qualifications system development were discussed. Following the results, a draft called “Strategy for the Development of a National Qualifications System” will be submitted to the President of the Russian Federation until 2030.

An exhibition display was presented as part of the Forum. Visitors could clearly see the work of various councils for professional qualifications.

The key stand at the exhibition display of the Forum was a stand of the Council for Professional Competences in the Industry of Elevators, Lifting Devices and Vertical Transport, which is recognized to be one of the most proactive councils and also a leader in the number of certificates of competence received. The CPC in the elevator industry is headed by S. A. Prokofiev. At the Forum, he made a report on the Council activities and also shared his own experience.

The CPC in the elevator industry was founded in 2014. Over this period, it has developed and updated more than 30 professional standards. 60 organizations are granted authority to act as qualification assessment centers operating throughout the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Crimea, on the territory from Kaliningrad to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The CPC has established 177 sites for professional examination. To date, more than 32,000 certificates of professional qualification and more than 2,000 certificates of professional examination have been issued.

The CPC stand in the elevator industry was represented under the sponsorship of the RUSSIAN ELEVATOR SOCIETY Association and Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant PJSC, the National Elevator Union and the Commission on Elevator Mechanisms of the Public Council under the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. Top experts of the industry answered questions about the elevator industry, about the Council activities and presented work results of the Russian innovative equipment: President of the RLO Association Sergey Chernyshov, the First Vice-President of the National Elevator Union Alexey Zakharov, Director General of the Federation of Elevator Enterprises Sergey Prokofiev, Director General of the Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant Sergey Zaika.

In order to display CPC work in the Elevator Industry on the exhibition stand, Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant PJSC installed two working cabins of passenger elevators PEGAS VEGA and PEGAS SPICA, manufactured in accordance with the latest standards and meeting all safety requirements.

The CPC stand devoted to elevators aroused incredible interest, as participants of the Forum could assess achievements of the cutting edge Russian developments in the field of elevator building, as well as personally test demo samples of elevators and lifting equipment. The Russian elevators were tried by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Maxim Topilin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Chairman of the National Council under the President of the Russian Federation on Professional Qualifications Alexander Shokhin, the First Deputy Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation Leonid Kazinets, Executive Secretary of the Public Council under the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation, Assistant Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Svetlana Kuzmenko, Vice-President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Public Association Fyodor Prokopov and many others.
