By order No. 204 dd. December 17, 2019 “On Draft Decision of the EEC Council “On Amending the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union “Lift Safety (TR CU 011/2011)”, the initiative of the National Lift Union on extending the term of TR CU “Lift Safety” 011/2011 until 2025 was approved.
In late April 2019 in accordance with the decision of the 9th All-Russian Congress of Lift Complex Workers, a discussion was held on some of the most burning issues that affected implementation of some of the orders of the Russian Government adopted on February 5, 2019. Decision No. DM-P9-7pr “On Meeting Results Regarding Development of Industrial Products Necessary for Implementation of Housing and Urban Environment National Project” was adopted as a result of this discussion. The Congress adopted a resolution on the issues discussed. In accordance with the recommendations of Congress participants as stated in the document, the management of the National Lift Union sent a letter to Vitaly Leontiyevich Mutko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. The letter, in addition to other issues discussed extending the date by which all lifts must be brought into accordance with the requirements of the Customs Union Technical Regulation TR CU “Lift Safety” 011/2011 to 2025. Earlier this proposal has been agreed on with Rostechnadzor, the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
